I think it actually works better without Wayne’s part. Wayne’s verse makes the song seem like its more about drugs. Just having Dracula on it and now after seeing the video, it makes it seem like it’s about plain ol’ insanity.

I fucking loved this video, as well as the song without Wayne. Although some of Wayne’s lines may not contribute to the overall meaning and feeling that Zoe is trying to achieve (speaking of–I really appreciate and respect Zoe as a rapper–hate all you desire). But I also believe that Wayne’s lyrics can be seen as a “i can’t stand the shape of everything so i have to resort to drugs because shit’s so fucked up i just can’t handle it. i can’t stand a day in my life without being super fucked up and am losing the defining line between what’s real and what isn’t.” If his lines are viewed in this sense then his verse fits. This just might be some crazy ass interpretation from someone who’s trying to read too far into it.

And on the NPR thing from the previous post–I think the NPR gig is a great thing. I mean you are on the front page right now.

This song big in the south when I went to dallas for the cowboys/49ers game this shit was on all the stations down there non stop. I love DC its my home but my favorite team from the bay! Skins getting that ass beat
