Jake One isn’t only Seattle’s most visible producer, he’s also the scene’s biggest advocate. On this new tape he runs through a couple decades of underground Sea-Town bangers. It’s a nice cross-section of the city’s sounds and a great supplement to the Local Product feature that Jake and Mike Clark dropped here a few months back. (via).

Jake One sent over a big folder of Seattle hip hop for the Local Product posts and a couple of tracks didn’t really fit into the narrative. I have no information on these artists, but they are very dope. Maybe some of my 206 heads can fill in the blanks?
